The Aberdeen University Ju-Jitsu Club has been in existence for over 25 years, which makes us the university martial arts club with the longest continuous history. Our fantastic coaches will teach you everything you need to know about self-defence.
We usually train twice a week during term and continue training through the holidays.
Training times 2024/25:
Please be aware that you need to purchase your membership to attend training, with the exception of the first two sessions (Give it a Go).
As a club, we do not compete in regional or national competitions. We are affiliated with the Scottish Ju-Jitsu Society, who organise training seminars throughout the semester which members are encouraged to attend.
Learning a martial art is a great way to keep fit and improve your self-esteem. We train in a friendly and positive atmosphere and always welcome beginners. Don’t worry if you’ve never done a martial art before, never liked sport at school or don’t feel very fit. We try to pace the training to suit the people there, though we will try to push you.
We are always looking for new members, we hope you come along! Please contact us if you are interested in joining us. Find us on social media or send us an email for more information. To do so, click on the relevant symbol at the top of the page.
