Korfball is a mixed gendered, non-contact Dutch sport with similarities to both basketball and netball. The game is simple with only two positions: attack and defence, and one aim: to score more than the other team. Positions are switched every two goals which means there is ample opportunity for everyone to shoot! Teams are made-up of 4 boys and 4 girls, but you can only "defend" someone of the same gender.
If you're looking to start a new sport, Korfball could be for you! Most people haven't played before coming to university, so don't be deterred if you haven't heard of it before!
Already know you're going to love Korfball? Why not get involved with our committee! We are a new club so always welcome to anyone wanting to lend us a hand.
