WEMS holds skills sessions, lecture nights and weekends away, and also run trips to national conferences throughout the year. Our interests are many and varied but include: pre-hospital care, military medicine, expedition medicine, critical and road traffic accident care. The wide range of training we give means we have something for everyone; being a mountaineer is definitely not a requirement! Our society is open to everyone with an interest, medics and non-medics alike.
When purchasing a membership, we will request some further personal details in order for us to fill out your Mountaineering Scotland membership preferences - these details will not be used for any other purposes, and will only be seen by the necessary members of our committee.
