The Aberdeen University Mechanical Engineering Society (AUMECH) is a society that aims to provide a safe platform for meeting fellow students, discussing topics, and seeking to improve skills with all things concerning mechanical engineering.
As a society we try to achieve two main things;
We've held many interesting talks in our first year, from both ourselves and from guest speakers in industry and academia. Our socials were also a great success. Incorporating engineering themes to things like pub quizzes, bringing our community together and having a laugh all at once!
