Shared Planet Society acts as a platform for social and environmental activism and cultural exchange.

Next to the Corner, at Unit 4 in the SUB, we also have a clothes exchange project called the Swap Shop. The concept is simple: if you need clothes, kitchenware or any other accesorries you can browse thorugh the shop and take whatever you need. If you have extra stuff at home which you don't need, you can drop it off in the donation box at the Swap Shop as well. No money is involved! Recently we opened another Swap Shop in AUSA's building at Hillhead, too. While the Swap Shop on campus is open always open (within the SUB's opening hous of course), the one in Hillhead will normally be open 5-7pm on Tuesdays (however, the donation box is located outside of the building so you can donate your things at any time). We are also a part of the FareShare movement, which aims to tackle food waste. Our volunteers collect surplus food from local supermarkets and bring it to the Foodsharing Hub (Unit 3 in the SUB) on Wednesday and Friday mornings and on Thursday afternoons, as well as to AUSA's building in Hillhead on Saturday mornings. If you have any food which you would like to donate, you can bring it to the Foodsharing Hub, too!
