Aberdeen University Raising and Giving (RAG) is the student-led fundraising body at the University of Aberdeen, dedicated to supporting local charities through a wide range of fundraising events and initiatives.
RAG provides students with the opportunity to make a real difference while developing valuable skills in event planning, teamwork, and leadership. Whether it’s charity balls, pub quizzes, sports challenges, or large-scale fundraising campaigns, we work closely with societies, sports teams, and student groups to make fundraising accessible, fun, and impactful.
Beyond campus, RAG fosters strong relationships within the Aberdeen community, collaborating with local businesses, charities, and organisations to support meaningful causes. Each year, we disburse the funds raised to our chosen charities in a celebratory Disbursement Ceremony, recognising the hard work of our volunteers and showcasing the impact of student-led giving.
