Journaling Society

 

Journaling provides a safe place to ‘dump’ your thoughts, relieving stress and helping you to understand and process your emotions. Student life is very fast-paced, between the essays, exams, work and other commitments, many don’t take the time to slow down, step back and reflect on their achievements. We recognised that a lot of us put our mental health on the backburner even though it’s so much more important than that degree. We hope to bring calm vibes, mindfulness and lots of fun!

 

We hold weekly workshops on campus to get together and journal. We provide journaling supplies and a safe space to write about anything you want, from introspective prompts to scrapbooking. We bring likeminded people together and build a friendly and inclusive community that uplifts and supports each other. We also hold regular socials (drinking and non-drinking) so stay up to date with us on instagram (@aujournalingsoc) for updates!

 

Whether you're a journaling enthusiast or a newcomer we would love for you to join us in our sessions. We offer memberships to both students and non-students, these help to keep our society up and running. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions :)
