Hello and welcome to the newly established Aberdeen Uiversity Reeling Society! Our society will be hosting practice sessions, "casual kilts" events and full black tie balls where we will be practicing traditional Scottish country dances knows as "Reels".
Reeling shares many similarities, and even dances, with traditional Scottish ceilidhs. However, Reels are dances of their own right, with many beautiful intricacies and complexities to learn!
There is no need for any prior experience of dancing of any kind, we only want you to be enthusiastic and up for a good time! We will be organising our first social very soon for all members.
