We aim to welcome a diverse social environment to encourage people to learn how to skate and longboard in a safe and controlled manner and promote a more active lifestyle. Arrange Meet-ups at different skateparks, participate in skateboarding events around Scotland and quench skaters’ competitive spirit with competitions. It doesn't matter if you've never stood on a skateboard before, or if you've been skating for years. As long as you’d like to ride a wooden board on 4 wheels, you are welcome.
We are actively working with Seed Skateshop and Doric Skateboards has offered the club discounts for equipment. We are also in talks with Transition Extreme to use their great skatepark. Skateboard Scotland hosts multiple types of events. More casuals Jams to competitive events like the Scottish Mini Ramp champs and the Scottish Street champs (winners from these events qualify for a place in the UK champs). We have a Skateboarding Captain Committee position to facilitate our skaters with their goals. Our members would be glad to get you into the groove of the sport with tid-bits to excel your progression.
Overall, We’d like to build a community of skaters in Aberdeen!
