Bonjour à tous et à toutes !
The Aberdeen University French Society has officially been revived! We offer a chance to be immersed in the French language and in francophone cultures and aim to create a space for everyone to express their enjoyment of such.
Our social events include Wine & Cheese evenings, Cooking nights, and Film nights. We also arrange regular Language Exchanges, where we bring our French (or Franglais) speaking skills out for the evening. It is the perfect opportunity to practice the language in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Our society is open to francophones, French language students, everyone interested in the French language or francophone cultures, and those who enjoy good food or a glass of fine French wine! Many of our society are students of the University of Aberdeen, some of whom study French and some of whom are native French speakers but we also welcome non-students!
If you would like to be kept up to date with our latest events you can find us on Facebook or Instagram! If you have any questions or requests drop us a message on socials, please don’t be shy!
We can’t wait to meet you all!!
We are participating in a languages ball 20th March 2025, buy your ticket through https://www.ausa.org.uk/organisation/auhispanicsociety/ and join us for an amazing time!
