Come along to AURA’s first LARP event in over 20 years!

Time: 12:00-16:00 (Afternoon combat 14:00-16:00)

Place: King’s Lawn (the rugby field next to King street)

Hear ye, hear ye, the Dragon King has announced he will be holding a tourney, to find his mightiest Knight.

Come one, come all to the event of the season, with a tourney of knights fighting with LARP swords, a mysterious treasure hunt adventure, a delicious picnic feast, and the King himself! Come and experience magic and merriment galore…

The combat at this event will involve a training session for LARP style sword fighting, followed by a tournament with multiple rounds of 1v1 duels between participants. During the tournament, participants will be able to use LARP-safe (foam) swords, these will be provided by AURA.

There are two available time slots: 12:00-14:00 (morning slot) and 14:00-16:00 (afternoon slot). Due to health and safety (and other), each slot only has 8 available tickets, meaning there are only a total of 16 combat tickets available.

With this Afternoon Combat ticket, which costs £5, you will get to take part in the afternoon combat slot (14:00-16:00). It will also give you access to all other areas of the LARP event, including treasure hunt, food, roleplay etc.

Once all 8 tickets have been bought, we will reach out to ticket holders to provide them with more detailed information, instructions, and safety rules.

IMPORTANT: ONLY 18s AND OVER MAY TAKE PART IN LARP COMBAT

(If you are under 18, you can take part in other parts of the LARP, however, for safety reasons you cannot take part in the combat, so please don’t buy a combat ticket)
