Come along to AURA’s first LARP event in over 20 years!

Hear ye, hear ye, the Dragon King has announced he will be holding a tourney, to find his mightiest Knight.

Come one, come all to the event of the season, with a tourney of knights fighting with LARP swords, a mysterious treasure hunt adventure, a delicious picnic feast, and the King himself! Come and experience magic and merriment galore…

This event is intended to give you all a chance to experience LARP in an accessible way. It will include LARP sword fighting (combat ticket required), food to eat, and an adventure treasure hunt!

The treasure hunt will be linked to the storyline of the event, with clues leading you towards a treasure or a secret. This way you can try out LARP adventuring and Roleplay, in a familiar format. 

I would very much encourage you to dress up (medieval fantasy vibes) if you want to, but this is not essential, it will just make things more immersive! The costume, at its bare bones, just needs a plain top and trousers/a skirt (no logos, no jeans). It also can be fun to create a character, with a name and a backstory, as it adds to your experience of the LARP. With this Roleplay/Observer ticket, which costs £2, you will get to take part in all parts of the event, EXCEPT the combat. You can watch the combat, but due to safety restrictions, you cannot take part without a combat ticket. Unlike the combat tickets, roleplay tickets have no limit on how many people can buy them.
