Your voice is my voice.

Introduction

I am KENNETH SAMUEL PEASAH-BOATENG, I am studying MSc. Data Science at the University of Aberdeen, and I am from Ghana a peaceful country in West Africa.

I am a committed and dedicated determined person who would go through lengths to provide you with the best and most suitable solutions to your problems because your VOICE, is my voice, I see your views, I get your point, I understand your frustration, I feel the cold too and I believe in what you believe in, YOU.

What are your three priorities for the year?

  1. Fees, bills and accommodation reduction and Conducive payment plan for students.

  2. Creation of direct part time jobs, more international opportunities and internships through careers connect for students.

  3. Diversity and Equality through free games at Sports Village Ausa building and revised cost of living schemes.

What unique skill/knowledge can you bring to the role to stand out from the other candidates?

I have led teams and organizations but what makes me unique is my quest to achieve the impossible. I am motivated by the ability to perform various tasks. You could also call me bilingual. Recently, I started learning Hindi (challenging) to add to my knowledge of French, Spanish, Ni hao (Chinese) and my own Ghanaian language. I play three musical instruments, the keyboard, drums, and the bass guitar. I just fit many roles I am told. The most unique of it all is I am a student at the University of Aberdeen.

What do you think is the biggest issue that students are facing at the moment and how do you plan to tackle it?

The biggest issue students face is the inability to see the change they expect or require. Regardless of the quality services provided by the University, it's quite unfortunate that students still feel stressed and frustrated at times due to packed lectures and academic activities.

Providing Schemes to reduce the cost-of-living crises could be of much help (Increment on funds provided on student ID, free bus passes, gym memberships, groceries, free food stalls etc.)
