What do you think is the biggest issue that students are facing at the moment and how do you plan to tackle it?
One significant issue students are facing at the moment is mental health, like increased stress, anxiety, and loneliness among students, which can have a negative impact on their overall wellbeing and academic performance. Some students are struggling with pre-existing mental health conditions that have been exacerbated by the pandemic. To tackle this issue, universities and student unions can work together to provide better mental health support by offering counseling services, mental health resources, and support groups. Let's prioritize mental health awareness by including it in their curriculum and promoting a healthy work-life balance. I can ensure that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
