Introduction

I am Zain Faizi, I wish to apply for the post of Vice-President of Activity position as I have a good academic record, I have passed all my degree and certificate with first division academic score not only but also, I have excelled in extra curriculum activities. I am a record holder athlete in 400M running competition at zonal level and I have also represented my country in national school games. In past I was in the student council as sports captain and i used to look after all the sports related activities like organising competition between different house group, maintaining that we have all the required equipment’s for upcoming events, mainly my work was to motivate and guide my junior and prepare them for sports competitions.

What are your three priorities for the year?

1. I will keep the discussion to the point and that is relevant and ensure the council deals with the clear issue.
2. Every decision that I will take will be discuss with my colleagues and people who have already represented this position before for better understanding.
3. I will not only just listen but also will review every issue faced by students by going In-person which will help for better understanding of that problem

What unique skill/knowledge can you bring to the role to stand out from the other candidates? 

• I have experience as sports captain, so being as member of any student council is one of the best things you can take on at university and in general life because it teaches you how to be mentor, a team player and how to lead others to help them improve.

• As a voice of students i will work towards their issues and will take regular follow up, I personally believe that taking a follow up or feedback is one of the most important things which can have a great impact in future.
• I believe regular communication between council and students should be maintained which will help council to know what their needs are and how can we satisfy their needs by providing best alternatives

What do you think is the biggest issue that students are facing at the moment and how do you plan to tackle it? 

• Activities competition - University should organise few events or competition which should have some exciting events between two course batches which will help students of different background to involves with each other’s it will help students to make networks and will also help students to exchange important knowledge of their subjects which is help to development of Individual. like Painting completion, Pot making or a debate competition
• Expensive sports clubs - Every Good club is charging some amount of money if anyone wants to enrol themself. Many students can’t afford these unnecessary charges, university should include all these charges in our tuition fees because when international students come to new places, they have a fixed budget which becomes a barrier for them to take part in these amazing activities
